Stephen Covington started flying 25+ years ago and has his commercial rating and over 3000 hours logged. He also Holds his Surface Level SAC Card so he can do Acro down to the ground!

SRC airshows is owned and operated by Stephen Covington. Stephen is  the pilot at SRC airshows where he has amazed everyone with his aerobatic performances in his highly modified Pitts s2s named the”Raptor”/”FURY.    The Pitts has Been retired and now He flies FURY 2.0, a Gamebird GB1. Other planes he flies for shows is a T6 Texan and a  Christen Eagle II for the NEXT GEN EAGLES.

Stephen  has a couple acts over the years he has been a part of from a Dual S2S pitts act  The second is the Immortal Red Barron act, where the WWI German pilot comes to an airshow near you and has a real life dog fight with the Raptor. In this show you got to hear and see authentic machine guns shoot at the airplanes, and even FROM the airplanes. This  act received the ICAS Gold award in 2018 for best new act. He now flies The rolling thunder act with either Mark smith or Paul Seili where he battles a Jet power car!

Aviation has been in Stephen’s blood since a kid. Airplanes were always his favorite toys when he was little and war movies with planes in them he could never pass up.

Stephen owns a couple business in Longview Texas where he customizes cars, anything from your old hot rod to your late model C7 corvette he and his crew can do anything you can dream up at his shops! Look them up at:
